Job Duties and Responsibilities

Help with food preparation as per the Head/1st Cook requests
Coffee service, stocking beverage coolers, snacks, filling napkin dispensers, condiments etc.
Cleaning and organizing the kitchen, coolers, freezers, and dry storage as directed
Sweeping and mopping floors, wiping tables and counters
Washing dishes, pots, pans and changing garbage
Cleaning living quarters and washrooms
Breaking down cardboard boxes
Report to supervisor concerning all issues related to food and equipment

Kitchen Support AM

Set-up dry breakfast line, lunch and snack station
Occasionally break to catch up on dishes and empty dish station
Ensure sandwich cooler, beverage cooler, condiments, napkins and utensils are stocked
Prepare, portion and wrap snacks as per the 1st Cook requires
Clean and sanitize tables, clean up dishes, restock supplies and mop dining room floor after breakfast

Kitchen Support PM

Clean dinner dishes and cutlery then put away
Clean and sanitize dining room tables after dinner and re-stock supplies and general dining room clean up
Ensure all equipment is turned off and empty, cleaned and sanitized
Mop dining room floor and sandwich station floor
